Horse Connect is designed to help any rider, from beginners to advanced competitors, easily find the right professionals, horses, and equipment to help you achieve your equestrian aspirations.
Beginner riders should start by finding a trainer that will teach you the riding basics. Based on what you learn from working around the horses, in the saddle, and after doing research, you can decide what discipline you would like to pursue and what trainer can best help you progress.
Horse Connect offers information on several English and Western disciplines in Southern California as well as local trainers that specialize in those disciplines.
After riders become invested in their discipline, they may be searching for a horse to help them progress. Horse Connect provides information on leases and tips for buying and selling a horse as well as local horses for sale based on age, sport, level of training, and show experience.
Caring for a horse requires several hands on deck, including veterinarians and farriers. Horse Connect displays local, trusted veterinarians and farriers to choose from in addition to information when picking the right vet and farrier for your horse.
Caring for your horse also requires having the right equipment for riding and exercising your horse. Knowing where to purchase all your horse’s tack and the right riding apparel is crucial to both your horse’s and your performance in the saddle whether you’re in a lesson or in the show ring.
